I bought this book (along with the other books in the series) to go along with our 4th grade unit on animal adaptations. My students LOVE them! I can hardly keep them on the book shelf of my classroom library! The illustrations are charming and even inspired several of my students to create their OWN illustrations of themselves with animal body parts. The author did a great job of teaching an important science concept in a funny, engaging way. I love these books so much that I just pre-ordered the next book in the series, which is coming out right as school is starting. These books would make a great addition to ANY collection, whether it's at home or at school or whether it's for learning or just for fun. You'll enjoy them for sure!
Great book! Kids love it and it's an AR book. Lots of interesting information, in a very appealing presentation. Item as described .
My girls love these books. If you have an elementary age child, I'm sure they'll enjoy the journeys these books take them through.
My boys (8 and 11) love this series of books
This love this book! The pictures make them laugh and they want to read it over and over.
My teachers used the book to discuss animals before going on their field trip to the National Zoo.
Great and thanks
